Where does the time go?

Ben is three weeks and three days today - we cannot believe how big he's getting or how quickly the time has passed! Here are some shots of the bee from his first week when he was still wee: He makes noises that sounds like a car 's screeching tires as it's turning around a corner at high speed, or an alternator belt that needs tightening. I have no idea how he makes these noises, but they're a riot. It's amazing, the expressions that play across his face; he rivals Jim Carey, to be sure. He's such a good baby, sometimes a bit fussy and quite strong. Those legs! I'm sure he'll be kicking field goals in no time. We've caught him laughing in his sleep which is quite the delight. He gives us little smiles here and there, but his life at this point is largely eating, having his diaper changed and sleeping. His umbilical cord stump fell off on Easter (April 16), so now he can start wearing all those adorable onsies we've received. Today after posting he's going for a walk with Mommy to the post office to send off some thank you notes. (I'm trying to g
